From 14–15 October 2025, the Vision Zero Conference (https://lnkd.in/dpEb3AEC) – Sustainable Mining 2025 brought global mining leaders to 𝐁𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐦, 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲—and TUBAF | Fakultät für Maschinenbau, Verfahrens- und Energietechnik | Faculty of Mechanical, Process, and Energy Engineering was proud to represent the NetHelixEU project on this vital stage.
In the session “𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠,” Mr. Ali Erdesat delivered compelling insights from our ongoing work under the title:
“𝘍𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘦𝘴: 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦 ‘𝘙𝘦𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘦 𝘡𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘦’ 𝘪𝘯 𝘎𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺.”
He spotlighted the 𝐩𝐫𝐞-𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 of NETHELIX at the FLB mine site, showcasing how our green, remote, and automated machinery is being tested in real-world conditions—aligning perfectly with Vision Zero’s core pillars: 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩.
The conference reinforced a powerful truth: sustainability and safety aren’t optional—they’re the foundation of tomorrow’s mining industry.
